RODD Concave Distractor
RODD Concave distractor in intended to be anchored on one of the two spinous processes in order to achieve an efficient distraction. It has the following features: A large groove intended to hold the spinous process
- Two side holes on the branches of the groove. A suture thread will pass through them and fix
- the distractor to the process
- A concave spherical dome intended to be articulated with another convex dome in order to
form a multi-axial rotating assembly - The concave dome presents a small notch at its top to let the assembly screw be threaded in
the convex distractor
The RODD Concave distractor is available in several sizes: T8, T10, T12, T14, and T16 with the same dimensions of the contour in width and depth. The implant size sets the interspinous height. It also exists in small version with the same sizes: T4, T5, T6, T7, T8 and T9. It is the same height as for standard sizes, with a smaller contour to fit the anatomical contours of the vertebrae.
