Lumbar plates and screws

An anterior or lateral lumbar plate may be added to the construct in case of use of a standard anterior cage. The plate is implanted with four cancellous screws into the vertebral body. Lumbar plates cannot be used as a stand-alone implant; it must be used in completion with an intersomatic cage to consolidate the fused area.
