Lumbar ALIF cages

Anterior Lumbar Cages have a large peripheral support area and large holes for the graft. They can be inserted by anterior or antero-lateral approach. A blocked version of the lumbar anterior cage DIVA exists with a direct fixation of the cage to the vertebral bodies with two bone screws.

The anterior lumbar cages DIVA are intended to be used in an anterior or antero-lateral approach. A lumbar anterior plate may be added to the construct in case of use of a standard anterior cage. DIVA Queen cages, or blocked cages, are fixed with two titanium TA6V screws. The Anterior lumbar cages DIVA have the following features:
• A lordotic shape
• Stabilization notches reinforcing the anchoring of the implant and preventing its migration
• A wide bearing surface for an optimal stability
• Two wide graft holes
• Lateral holes to favor the blood flow and graft
• Radiographic marker to allow a positioning control of the implants in situ for PEEK cages.
• A threading for a safe impaction
• An anatomical biconvex profile, offering an intimate contact between the vertebral
endplates and respecting the anatomy of the discal space
• DIVA Queen: A locking mechanism to avoid the migration of the screws

The lumbar anterior and antero-lateral cages DIVA are available in several sizes from 8 to 18 mm. They have a single width of 36mm and a single depth of 29 mm.
A range with a smaller contour is available: from size 8 to 18 mm, with a single width of 32 mm and a single depth 24 mm.
Preclinical evaluations have been performed and tests with in vitro manipulation were performed to evaluate the interaction of implants with the associated instruments.
